Al-Shaykh Al-Muḥaddith ʿAbdul ʿAzīz al-Khuḍayr

قال النبي ﷺ: من عال ابنتين أو ثلاث بنات أوأختين أوثلاث أخوات حتى يبلغن أو يموت عنهن كنت أنا وهو وأشار بالسبابة والوسطى. رواه أحمد بسند صحيح.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever looks after two daughters, or three daughters, or two sisters, or three sisters until they reach maturity, or he dies leaving them, then he and I will be [like this]"—and he gestured with his index and middle fingers.
Narrated by Aḥmad with an authentic chain.

عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ "مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ ثَلاَثُ بَنَاتٍ فَصَبَرَ عَلَيْهِنَّ وَأَطْعَمَهُنَّ وَسَقَاهُنَّ وَكَسَاهُنَّ مِنْ جِدَتِهِ - كُنَّ لَهُ حِجَابًا مِنَ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ" — رواه ابن ماجاه بسند مصري صحيح
ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever has three daughters and is patient with them, feeds them, gives them drink, and clothes them from his wealth—they will be a shield for him against the Fire on the Day of Resurrection."
Narrated by Ibn Mājah with an authentic Egyptian chain.
These daughters—if you provide them with sustenance, clothe them properly, teach them the Qurʾān, Sunnah, manners, and good character, and then raise them up; when weakness overcomes you, they will supplicate to Allah ﷻ for you, and He will answer [their prayers].

عائشة أن النبي ﷺ قال : من ابتُلِي من هذه البَنَاتِ بِشيءٍ كُنَّ له سِتراً من النّار. متفق عليه. زاد مسلم : فَأحَسنَ إليهنَّ.
Ḥadīth: ʿĀʾishah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever is tested with anything regarding these daughters, [and treats them well] they will be a screen for him from the Fire." [Agreed upon / Al-Bukhārī and Muslim].
Muslim's narration added: "...and treats them well..."

Remember, while you spend on your daughters and strive in their service, the saying of the Prophet ﷺ:
من عال جاريتَيْن حتى تبلُغا، جَاء يوم القيامةِ أنا وهُو . وضمَّ أصابِعَه. أخرجه مسلم.
"Whoever raises two girls until they reach maturity, he and I will come on the Day of Resurrection [like this]"—and he joined his fingers together.

When the father of Jābir, ʿAbdullāh ibn Ḥarām, was killed on the day of [the Battle of] Uḥud and left behind daughters, Jābir used to take care of them and spend on them. For this reason, the Prophet ﷺ used to treat Jābir kindly and show mercy to him!

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ جَاءَتْنِي مِسْكِينَةٌ تَحْمِلُ ابْنَتَيْنِ لَهَا فَأَطْعَمْتُهَا ثَلاَثَ تَمَرَاتٍ فَأَعْطَتْ كُلَّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا تَمْرَةً وَرَفَعَتْ إِلَى فِيهَا تَمْرَةً لِتَأْكُلَهَا فَاسْتَطْعَمَتْهَا ابْنَتَاهَا فَشَقَّتِ التَّمْرَةَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَأْكُلَهَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَأَعْجَبَنِي شَأْنُهَا فَذَكَرْتُ الَّذِي صَنَعَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَوْجَبَ لَهَا بِهَا الْجَنَّةَ أَوْ أَعْتَقَهَا بِهَا مِنَ النَّارِ " .
ʿĀʾishah reported: A poor woman came to me carrying two daughters of hers. I gave her three dates. So she gave one date to each of them, and then raised the remaining date to her mouth to eat it. However, her two daughters asked her for it. So, she split the date that she intended to eat between them. I was amazed by her action, so I mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ. He said: "Indeed, Allah has decreed Paradise for her because of it, or has emancipated her from the Hell-Fire because of it."
Narrated by Muslim.

Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān al-Anbārī said: "Sons are blessings (niʿam), and daughters are good deeds (ḥasanāt). Allah, ʿAzza wa-Jalla, calls to account for blessings and rewards for good deeds."

Manṣūr al-Faqīh said:
[Poetry]
I love daughters, and loving daughters
is an obligation upon every noble soul.
For Shuʿayb, because of (his) daughters,
God sent him Moses—His spoken one—to serve him.

Qatādah —may Allah be pleased with him— said: "A lot of times a girl is better than a boy at whose hands his family meets destruction."

Narrated ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her): Fāṭimah came walking, and her gait perfectly resembled the gait of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Welcome, my daughter," and then made her sit on his right side.
Narrated by al-Bukhārī.
This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ welcomed his daughter. So, how do you welcome them (your daughters)?

On the authority of ʿĀʾishah, the Mother of the Believers, who said: "I have never seen anyone who resembled the Messenger of Allah ﷺ more in speech, conversation, or manner of sitting than Fāṭimah." She added: "Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw her coming, he would welcome her, stand up for her, kiss her, take her by the hand, and bring her to sit in his place. And whenever she saw the Prophet ﷺ, she would welcome him, stand up for him, and kiss him."
Narrated by al-Nasāʾī in al-Sunan al-Kubrā with a strong chain. (see: no. (9192))

[Shaykh ʿAbdul ʿAzīz al-Khuḍayr added]
One of the sisters, Umm Muṣʿab, says: "How often did my father stand under the scorching sun, waiting for me to come out of school! Then we would stand together again, waiting for a taxi to go home. May Allah have mercy on my father's bones beneath the soil! (i.e. he has passed away)
﴿ رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا ﴾
“My Lord! Be merciful to them as they raised me when I was young.” [Qurʾān 17:24]
